  • We had a great time with Lee seeing the island of Gozo. We had amazing ftira (included in price), a great dip in the sea, and an impromptu trip to the Ta' Ċenċ Cliffs based on a request from someone in our troup. I will say that you are mostly off roads (not a bad thing in Gozo/Malta), so if you're not comfortable in some mountain-biking adjacent situations, this might not be for you--I had never done it before and was totally fine. The e-bikes were easy to use and a huge advantage.

  • 5 star ratingBest time in Gozo! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Javier. The three hours traveling the countryside of Gozo and Marsalforn seeing all the historical and landscape sights was thrilling, not to mention the fun it was tooling the back roads of Gozo on a Segway. Javier was an excellent guide and knew so many interesting facts and tales about the places we visited. It was an afternoon that will be remembered. Thank You, Gogo Segway tours!

  • 5 star ratingBest way to see GOZO We saw this tour advertised in the hotel and decided to give it a try. I have always wanted to try a segway and here was the perfect opportunity

There are several tours available to visit different parts of the Island varying from an hour to 2 hours in length. Recommend you book on arrival as the tours are very popular, we were fortunate and got a cancellation for our last day.

We were collected from our hotel by the owner of the business and taken to a village square where we were instructed on how to ride these amazing vehicles and given time to practice at our own pace before the tour began.

Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and was happy to stop at any time for photos, and in our case an icecream at Xlendi bay.

The tours are good value for money and you get to go off the main roads and see more of Gozo than just the tourist sports. Much nicer than being stuck on a bus

  • 5 star ratingBest 15 euros I ever spent Me and my friends decided to go for a day in Gozo and decided that we wanted to do something different and we chose Segway. The instructor was on time and he was very helpful and patient with me and my friends. We all loved the tour and it was a different experience, and totally worth the 15 Euros. I also appreciate that the instructor took video s for us and that they were ready on the same say of our tour.

  • 5 star ratingExcellent way to explore Easy to book and Kevin is very helpful.
Javier was our guide and we did the Salt Pans tour. It is amazing. You get to see so much, parts you wouldn’t see when you were driving and you also learn so much. Javier is very knowledgable and tells you interesting things as you travel along.
Segways are to easy to use. A short 5-10 minute training session and you are off. Javier lets you go at your own pace.
I really do recommend this. 100%. Great value.

  • I had quite some fun with the E-bike (first time for me to ride an E-bike but very easy to use). With the help of the host, we were able to see views that would've been easily accessed with public transportation. The host were thoughtly enough to pick me up from the ferry station and later sent me back there. Much appreciated!

  • I can't express what a wonderful time my friend and I had on our adventure with Gozo Segway Tours! Communication with the company was excellent, and it was easy to meet up with the guide. Javier was awesome - he was personable, helpful, and fun to spend time with. He added informative/entertaining commentary to the tour and took us to see the sites that would interest us the most. He also recommended other places to visit during the remainder of our stay on Gozo. This was my fifth segway tour, but the first time to take one "off-roading." It was really fun, and it shows the versatility and durability of a segway. There were also paved roads on the tour where we could drive fast (but safely)! It was my friend's first time riding a segway, so she appreciated Javier's patient instruction and the skills training at the beginning of the tour. Javier's photos and videos of our tour were a great perk! I've never had a segway guide provide this service, and I was especially surprised that the photos were FREE and included with the tour!!! It was so freeing to not be constantly pulling my phone from my pocket to take pictures (like on previous tours) so I could relax and enjoy the ride/scenery. Javier sent the photos to my (Hidden by Airbnb) account promptly (I think within an hour?), even though he had another tour to get ready for on another part of the island. Last thing - don't miss the salt flats! They are really cool.

  • 5 star ratingmemorable e-bike journey around Gozo had an absolutely brilliant day on the e-bikes. we met Kevin at his premises and he was very helpful and went through everything with us, to explain how to get the best from the bikes, as, although we had ridden bikes before, we had never ridden e-bikes. once we got used to the controls it was a really enjoyable experience. some of the hills in the south of Gozo are horrendous, but we both managed to cycle up them, and we're both in our 60's.

  • 5 star ratingLovely Experience Thanks to Kevin and Peter for this lovely tour. As Maltese citizens we have seen Gozo from a different angle, whilst enjoying a fun ride with the Segway. Peter was an excellent guide with a passion towards the ecology of this island, and he even made sure to capture some photos for us to keep as a memory (at no additional cost). This was our first experience but definitely not the last 🙂

  • 5 star ratingAn entertaining time My friend organised a segway tour for part of a hen's celebration (Gharb tour). Javier was incredibly patient and carefully showed everyone how to use the segways. Since we were a large group there weren't enough segways, but ebikes were provided. I immediately opted for the latter, and we all had such a wonderful time. Got to see bits of Gozo that we don't often visit. Will definitely recommend and do again.

  • The tour was a great way to explore the island. It’s such a beatific place!

It was more about seeing the sights rather than learning about the culture or history of the island. We would have enjoyed a bit more context as we rode around.

The ride itself is fun, but was quite challenging at times. There’s a lot of hills and the electric bikes used don’t take hills as well as other bikes we have used. The drivers in gozo also don’t seem used to bikes as there were some very aggressive drivers.

  • 4 star ratingAn ecological place of high importance As we own a small apartment on the Island of Gozo, which we purchased for our retirement days, we make it a point to seek and find places of interest to visit on regular weekends. It was a lovely sunny day when we decided to head towards Saint Raphael Lake (San Raflu). The lake lies in a small rural area just outside the locality of Kerċem, at the south-west of the island of Gozo. It is approximately 148 metres above sea level and it is surrounded by two of the most important bays in Gozo; the Dwejra Bay to the left, and the Xlendi Bay to the right. The whole area is situated on layers of Upper, Middle and Lower Globigerina limestone (Franka ta’ Fuq, tan-Nofs u ta’ Taħt), which make up the base of the whole San Raflu area. The view is breath taking.

San Raflu has always been a center for agricultural activity, which has grown in the twentieth century. It is called San Raflu u Sarraflu most probably after the Archangel St. Raphael, although the reason for this is quite unknown. The area centers around a man-made hole which gathers water and is home to several different marine organisms and other freshwater forms of life, such as ducks, fish, and frogs. Originally, the Maltese native frog (Discoglossus pictu) inhabited the pond. As the soil is quite fertile it also boasts of a diversity of flora and fauna throughout the year, making it an ecological place of high importance.

From what one can notice, the farming techniques used in the area are on the whole more primitive in respect of another agricultural area, and this may very positive, as contamination of the soil is being avoided. Certainly, the quarrying industry is the most active in the area, with workers depending on it on a daily basis, however, this has not interfered with the natural landscape of the area.

It was an enjoyable day of sightseeing which came to an end after we stayed around to feed the numerous ducks with freshly baked bread bought from a bakery nearby.

  • 4 star ratingFirst time on a Segway We participated in a tour in April on a beautiful warm and sunny day. We were only four people which was great as the tour guide made sure we'd get the best out of our trip. He was very willing to adapt the tour to our wishes. Even though we've never used a Segway before we got into it really quickly and felt safe throughout the entire tour.

The prices were really fair (much cheaper than on Malta for example). The only thing that bothered us a bit is that we had to pay 5€ each for pick up. We assumed it would be 5€ in total as we were at the same spot and booked together. They were able to take us on the van with which they transport the Segways and it was only a little detour. We would probably have taken the bus if we had known.

All in all we were really content and we'll sure be back if we return to Gozo!

  • 5 star ratingBrilliant segway tour - Salt pans I've done a few segway tours and this was the best one so far! The tour guide Javier was lovely, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Arranging the tour was simple, with great communication from Kevin. Doesn't matter if you are a beginner, my mum was really scared before hand and she was loving it in the end! Best part of the holiday. You get a little practise first before the main tour of the beautiful views of Gozo! Was going to either do this tour or one in Valletta. Definately made the right decision! Would recommend.

  • 5 star ratingLoved it!! My friend and I had a great time on this segway tour. We were the only ones on the trip, so while we enjoyed the beautiful landscape of Gozo we also had fun and deep conversations with our friendly tour guide Kevin. Next to segwaying, we also had some interesting stops. For example, we tasted freshly plukked asperges and a flower that tasted like a citrus. Since we had such a fun time, we also joined a hiking trip that was organized by Kevin later that day. If you want to do other fun and interesting things on Gozo, then Kevin is your guy. He for example also gives Joga classes. Enjoy your trip!!
