Go for it.. My sister and i decided to have a go at segway this week for the first time. We met Kevin and peter while enjoying my usual morning cappo and my first impression was that they were the both very enthusiastic about segway. Both were very informative about the island and a very relaxed manner, which did help when my nerves kicked in. After a short trial we set off one after the other towards the Salt Pans and at this point my knees were like jelly. Thankfully Peter had stopped to see if all was ok and i told i was terrified i wont be able to stop. With that lovely relaxed manner he went through it again with me until i was 100% sure the segway wouldnt run away with me. Off we went once more towards the salt pans and beyond, on road and off road which added to the segway adventure. Also by now i was rolling along with confidence and having great fun.. Peter was so informative about Gozo that i saw and learnt things about the island that i didnt know and had never seen or noticed before.. and i live here.. If your looking to try something new and adventurous no matter what age you are go for a segway. .

Really Super Scenic Tour We're Segway veterans and look for tours wherever we go. We chose the Salt Pans to Ta' Pinu option and were really pleased with this - it was a really lovely route taking us through a beautiful and varied range of sights and landscapes, from coastal to pastural and rural and including lots of stops including the beautiful Ta' Pinu sanctuary and a spectacular coastal arch (no not the Azure Window but an alternative you can get really close to).

Tracey our excellent South African guide has made her home on Gozo and has obviously settled into Gozitan life as she was a fount of information about history, culture and life on the island and extremely knowledgeable about local plant life - picking and pointing out some of the more unusual and tasty items. She made us feel very much at home, and also went out of her way to drive us back to the ferry which saved us a lot of time waiting around for the bus. At 3 hours the tour was just the right length - it was quite windy along the coast so we had a bit of a buffeting, but the scenery more than made up for this, and it was great to be able to pick up the pace on quiet paths rather than be speed limited as is often the case in cities. It was also exceptional value for money, and we will most definitely book again with Gozo Segway Tours when we return to the island.

The experience was way better then we even expected. Kevin is a great guy, and is very knowledgeable about the Island of Gozo. We were taken to many beautiful locations where he offered to take photos and tell us stories about the history and culture. I really recommend this tour to see Gozo and all it’s beauty! First time Segway We were met by Peter at the prearranged location. There were 2 of us and we were joined by 4 others. Peter is a very patient trainner and did not rush the safety breafing or familiarisation with the Segway. We spent 45 mins on practice with the Segway before going out on the tour, which was great and we saw parts of Gozo we hadn't seen before or knew existed. I would recommend this for most people. We were aged 14 and 49 years and the other group were aged 35-60 years. No one had any problems. It is harder on the legs than you would imagine and if you had issues with your knees you might not like doing it.

We really enjoyed the E-bike tour with Kevin and highly recommend this activity! He knows a lot about the Island and has some beautiful locations he shares. We visited everything from the beach to the cliffs. He was also very kind and shared suggestions for his favorite restaurants and other sight-seeing ideas. This is a great thing to do when you first arrive on Gozo. Then you have a much better idea of what is here. Thanks Kevin!

A great way to see Gozo We are both in our seventies and have not done much biking recently. The e bikes were easy to use and helped us get to places we could not have reached on our own.
Among other things we saw, we went along a cliff top path with sensational views, stopped at Xlendi for a something to eat and a a walk along the sea front while Dario (our guide) looked after the bikes. We had hoped to have a swim but it was a bit windy so we had an ice cream instead. We also visited a beautiful church, in Munxar I think - I could be wrong about that! All the roads were quiet and Dario made sure throughout that we were within our comfort zone physically, stopped at frequent intervals and generally looked after us brilliantly. Dario is amazingly knowledgeable about Gozo and speaks better English than us! On the morning before the ride we had time to visit the Citadel in Victoria, which is wonderful and at the end of the ride Kevin drove us back to the Fastferry to Valletta. All in all a great day. We would recommend the e bike ride as both a really enjoyable experience and a wonderful way of getting to know this beautiful island.

An amazing way to see the island I recently went on the cross country tour with Peter as the guide. He was brilliant. From helping us get started on the segways, to giving us lots of local knowledge along the way, he made sure that we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

It was an amazing experience, it exceeded all my expectations. eBikes are just great, helps you a lot on the way up and at all they’re excellent for getting around the island. This trip was my best investment, these emotions and impressions were worth every cent spent.

This was a great way to see the island of Gozo! Did the tour in March so a lot of things are ‘off season’ but it was a great adventure none the less! Kevin did a pick up from the ferry - great way to start! Mark, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We rode about 25km and if you aren’t comfortable on a bike, this may not be the adventure for you. But if you love the outdoors and seeing the island in a unique way, this was so perfect!!!! Highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing Thank you Javier for absolutely fantastic trip near by TaCenc. I have respect about segway, but Javier was perfect teacher and guide! I recommend to everybody. They are quickly for answers by email. You have to cash. They don't accept credit card.

I’m so glad I booked this experience. It was the highlight of my trip to Malta/Gozo and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. I’m a keen road cyclist and was keen to experience an eBike. They’re great and made the hill climbs effortless! Kevin is so knowledgable and passionate about Gozo and this makes for an extra special experience. Brilliant fun Just got back from a tour of Xlendi and sannat cliffs. I was nervous at the start as I'd never used a Segway before, but Havier our guide made sure that everyone was comfortable and able to do the manoeuvres before we set off. The tour was fun and relaxed and we got to see some new sights.

A great way to see Gozo I'll start by saying that Petr (Prague via Ireland then Gozo) was a fantastic guide; knowledgable, funny and bloody talented at riding a Segway. We started our morning in Marsalforn and took the coast road past salt pans to Ta Pinu shrine among others sights. Petr took a go pro video of the day at no additional charge. His patience was boundless even when run over by another Segway rider! A fun experience which is all in the hips.

Highly recommended! We did the Ta' Cenc cliffs route. The views over the whole island were fabulous and the instructor was extremely patient and reassuring with beginners. A reasonable price too. A must do in Gozo!

Fantastic experience! Real highlight of our trip! Myself and my girlfriend decided to do the 3 hour tour in the area near to Marsalforn. We had never been on a Segway before, but within 10 minutes our fantastic guide Peter had shown us all we needed to know and had us competently using the segways. As a plus, this training is not even using up any of the time of the 3 hour tour.
When we got going, we found Peter to be extremely knowledgeable about the area. On top of this, he was very friendly and easygoing throughout.
These tours are great value and I would recommend them to everyone who will be spending time on Gozo!! We will definitely be going on more of these tours when we are back!

It's amazing and you really get to see Gozo on just two wheels Javier was friendly and helpful and took us along a nice scenic route with great facts about Malta and our surroundings. We even took a more adventurous route going down and up a hill which my teenagers enjoyed thoroughly, I would definitely recommend this as a family fun adventure to do in Gozo

Ein absolutes Highlight! Die von uns gemachte Segwaytour zum Sonnenuntergang Gharb/ San Dimitri Area war definitiv - insbesondere auch für unsere 13 und 14-jährigen Söhne - eines unserer Urlaubshighlights auf Gozo. Zunächst wurden wir durch Peter super in die Kunst des Segway-Fahrens eingewiesen. Auf der Tour war er dann zudem ein excellenter Tourguide, der zu den einzelnen Sehenswürdigkeiten viel berichten konnte. Am Ende ging es dann - mit Beleuchtung ausgestattet - durch die Dunkelheit zurück nach Gharb. Peter hat laufend fotografiert und uns im Anschluss einen Link mit den Fotos zugeschickt - großartig!

One of the best tours we have EVER been on! We travel a lot and our bike tour in Gozo was one of the best city tours we have ever been on! Javier, who normally does the Segway tours, took us all over the island and stopped at some of his favorite spots around the island as well as whenever we wanted to stop and take pictures. I felt like this was such a personalized tour and Javier did such a wonderful job finding things that would be interesting for my husband and I but also for our two year old daughter (she had a BLAST!).

The island is very hilly but the ebikes made the 4 hour trek around the island so easy and we were able to see so much. One of our favorite parts of the tour was the lunch stop, at a traditional bakery, for pizza and other snacks.

We stayed in Valetta and had to take the bus to Cirkewwa and then the ferry to Gozo. This was very easy to navigate and very inexpensive ( I want to say the bus was 1.50 per person, one way, and then the ferry was only like 4.50 per person, round trip). Javier met us at the terminal and we left shortly after a few instructions on using the ebikes.

I cannot boast about this tour enough, awesome tour guide, awesome views and information, and VERY family friendly. Javier was awesome and I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience Gozo in a unique way. Seriously if you are travelling to Malta, book this tour!

Une expérience à vivre ! Lors de notre séjour nous avons eu l'occasion de découvrir l'art du Segway. Ni mon compagnon ni moi même n'en avions jamais fais. Bien que j'étais très angoissée le guide était tout simplement parfait. Il nous a bien tout expliqué, nous a fait faire de petits exercices et nous a ensuite guidé au travers des vallées de gozo. C'était super beau et une manière très originale de découvrir les paysages et les routes quelque peu sauvages 🙂 A faire absolument !

Brilliant way to see out of the way areas of the island This was my first experience riding a Segway and it took no time before we were rolling. I became a confirmed Segaddict from that point onwards. Our guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable and told us many things about the island as we passed various spots. And the sights were beautiful in the evening light.

Now I'm going to seek out Segway tours wherever I go.

You are really going on an E-Bike for 4 hours straight Touring Gozo (with obviously some breaks to contemplate the landscapes, drink, eat, swim etc..)

The e-bike tour was excellent from start to finish. We definitely wouldn’t have seen as much of the island (with the unique views and insights) if we had done this ourselves.

If you are looking for a unique and personalised tour like us (instead of a giant tour bus), this is the way to go!

Water and helmets were provided with the E-Bikes, I recommend bringing a backpack for a jacket if you are attending in March like us.

We were hosted by Kevin’s colleague Pierre who took us on a fantastic loop of Gozo.

It was fun being able to see how far we had ridden throughout the day, due to the routes that Pierre had planned.

We finished the tour with a cliff-side sunset which was blissfully serene. They can customise the tour based on morning or afternoon sessions.

Would recommend to family or friends. A general level of fitness is recommended but to be frank I’m really unfit and the e-bike settings make a lot of the journey a breeze.

We stopped at a bakery on the way to enjoy some local cuisine too.
