Once you have ridden a Segway, you will never want to walk again!!! We booked on the Salt Pans Tour and were not disappointed. Booking was easy, through a simple email. We met at the appointed time and were shown how to ride. Next stop was a carpark where Peter and Javier taught us how to control the Segways on hills (up and down) rough terrain and small steps. After we were all confident, we set off around Marsalforn bay to the Salt Pans. There were frequent stops where Peter gave us local information and we had time to take photos. Water bottles were provided in the bags attached to each Segway, this was very much appreciated. Towards the end of the tour, we were given the option to extend the tour for a small extra fee, we all agreed and must have been riding for about 3 hours or more in total. After the initial training, you forget that you have to do anything to 'drive' the Segway, it almost becomes part of you and you control it intuitively. They are so powerful they can climb steep hills and go pretty fast on the smoother surfaces (watch out for typical Gozitan pot holes!). A truly unique experience and well worth the money. Had it been more expensive, we would probably wouldn't have gone but it is priced very competitively and was the first activity of the holiday.

Absolutely fantastic and good value for money My husband and I have taken various Segway/Ninebot tours before and were really looking forward to another one. We were not disappointed, we got a fantastic tour, even got riding right next to the salt pans. Mario is a great guide, showing us cultural, geological and botanical curiosities along the way and pointing out good places to swim, eat, etc.
On previous tours, we mostly visited cities and before booking we were concerned that there would not be much to see, however chose to go anyway, mostly to ride the Segways a bit. In hindsight, absolute rubbish to have had this concern, not only were there many things to wonder at, the ride in itself was great, up and down and over different surfaces, terrific outing.
If we took one picture, we took 1000 🙂 Can't recommend these tours enough, definite highlight of our holiday and hope to get back again. To top it, the price is really fair compared with other tours in Malta or elsewhere in Europe, and a good sense of humour is included.

We had high expectations for this experience going in, but Steve's storytelling and his ability to make us feel at home were beyond any hope that we had for this tour. Entirely customized to your wishes, with gorgeous scenery lighting the whole way ahead, Steve provided an unforgettable Gozo experience. Highly recommended!

Fantastic bike ride Hired e-bikes from Gozo Segway Tours. What an amazing way to see the beautiful island of Gozo. The bikes were in excellent condition and batteries fully charged, so easily last over 5 hours. The bikes really come into their own on the hills so dropping down to some of the bays wasn’t a problem as it was easy to cycle back out. Highly recommended as way to see Gozo.

The tour was a great way to explore the island. It’s such a beatific place!

It was more about seeing the sights rather than learning about the culture or history of the island. We would have enjoyed a bit more context as we rode around.

The ride itself is fun, but was quite challenging at times. There’s a lot of hills and the electric bikes used don’t take hills as well as other bikes we have used. The drivers in gozo also don’t seem used to bikes as there were some very aggressive drivers.

Peter the guide looked after everyone very well with plenty of safe fun .. Great way of seeing Gozo! I've always been in love with the idea of trying to use the segway. But of course going around the cliffs of Gozo is very different than going around a big city! Kevin is a great guy, he'll explain to you everything you need to know on the machine and on what you see around you. Nothing more to say than: I'll be back, and soon!

I can't express what a wonderful time my friend and I had on our adventure with Gozo Segway Tours! Communication with the company was excellent, and it was easy to meet up with the guide. Javier was awesome - he was personable, helpful, and fun to spend time with. He added informative/entertaining commentary to the tour and took us to see the sites that would interest us the most. He also recommended other places to visit during the remainder of our stay on Gozo. This was my fifth segway tour, but the first time to take one "off-roading." It was really fun, and it shows the versatility and durability of a segway. There were also paved roads on the tour where we could drive fast (but safely)! It was my friend's first time riding a segway, so she appreciated Javier's patient instruction and the skills training at the beginning of the tour. Javier's photos and videos of our tour were a great perk! I've never had a segway guide provide this service, and I was especially surprised that the photos were FREE and included with the tour!!! It was so freeing to not be constantly pulling my phone from my pocket to take pictures (like on previous tours) so I could relax and enjoy the ride/scenery. Javier sent the photos to my (Hidden by Airbnb) account promptly (I think within an hour?), even though he had another tour to get ready for on another part of the island. Last thing - don't miss the salt flats! They are really cool.

Great time...with fantastic views! It was a fantastic experience...a very beautiful way to tour gozo. Although I am Maltese and went to Gozo several times, it is still an enjoyable tour since we visited certain landmarks that we didn't even know about them. apart from this... Peter, the tour leader made the tour really comfortable and relax! He was such an amazing guy!

The best way to explore Gozo!

Great scenic spots, loved the cave overlooking Ramla beach. Pierre was welcoming and took us on an alternative route so we could see the salt pans. Fantastic morning spent seeing the real essence of Gozo!

Gozo Bespoke Segway Tour Not ones to sit around in the sun when on holiday, my family and I wanted to have a full day of experience on our only day in Gozo. Gozo Adventures whom we did rock climbing with, kindly put us in touch with Kevin from Gozo Segway tours before our trip and he kindly put together a bespoke tour for us. Our guide Javier took us round the Gjanthia Temples then got us up on the segways. OMG - They are SO MUCH FUN! My tweens were ecstatic to be allowed to be in control and because of this, they didn't mind or even notice that we were actually doing some sightseeing. Brilliant experience, brilliant guide, a fantastic day overall! Big thumbs up to everyone we met on Gozo!

So good we did it twice!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great way to see this Island. Having been to Gozo 4 times before we thought we had seen everything - nothing prepares you for this great experience!! Javier our guide was so knowledgable and incorporated the Island's history whilst negotiating our segways around the wondrous villages and towns. Awesome ride. Javier took us out on the most spectacular and cool ride on the Segway. Me and my to teenager girls had a blast. We also learned much about the history in the 3 hour ride we had, and saw a lot of beautiful places.
This is a trip everyone can do, old or young. None off us had any Segway experience but with a little input and 3 minuets off training, the road was ours 😎
So thank you so much Javier for a wonderful trip, and by the way... The cactus flower jam was amazing 😄

Amazing journey! We've done this great tour in Gozo, leaving from Marsalforn and visiting the valley around. It lasted about 2 Hours, after a brief school about how to drive the segway of course! It's been a bit tiring, 2 Hours are not easy to take if you're not used to it, and I've been in tension for all the time with my back and feet, but it's been wonderful, I would do it again straight away! Also our guide Peter has been very helpful all the time, giving us also historic infirmations about what we were seeing, and also making us pics to download later! great!!!

This was a first class experience from start to finish that was tailored for our specific needs and wishes. The guide, Derek, was extremely knowledgeable and considerate, showing us many hidden treasures. The time flew by with fascinating back stories. The e-bikes were brand new and made for a great tour.

I’m so glad I booked this experience. It was the highlight of my trip to Malta/Gozo and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. I’m a keen road cyclist and was keen to experience an eBike. They’re great and made the hill climbs effortless! Kevin is so knowledgable and passionate about Gozo and this makes for an extra special experience. A new find to enjoy new adventures! We just came back to Malta after one of our short breaks at Gozo with one thing in mind ... to definitely return for another, new, thrilling segway experience! It was our first time, so we decided to start with a one-hour experience. Javier was the best teacher, making us want more despite our not so clumsy start, as he made us instantly feel comfortable with his detailed instructions and professional lectures. His friendliness, historical knowledge, and his care for instant learning and safety were impeccable. We definitely look forward to another adventure in the hopefully near future, this time with a definitive extension! What a great exhilarating ride !!! Segway Gozo – What a great exhilarating ride !!! This was a first for my wife and myself but Kevin and Peter make sure that you’re comfortable and confident before you start your trip. The Segway is a really extraordinary machine and, after a few practice runs, it becomes intuitive to drive. No matter your age. We traveled easily from Marsalforn to Dwejra, stopping occasionally to see the sights and places of interest. Peter, with his great sense of humour, was knowledgeable of all the sites and he looked after all the individuals with great care. A most pleasant silent glide over the hills and through the valleys of Gozo. Not to be missed. Worth every euro. And definitely to be repeated.

It was the highlight of our vacation in Malta. We were picked up at the ferry port and treated to a magical day. The bikes are easy to ride and the scenery in Gozo is amazing. I can't recommend this highly enough!

Very enjoyable tour We came across Kevin's Gozo Segway Tours while on holiday and fixed up a tour online. Turned out to be a fascinating experience, scooting along the beautiful rugged landscape on the north west part of the island. We also found Kevin to be very friendly and easy going, making the tour very enjoyable, chatting as we did along the way. Highly recommended.
