Salt Pans Tour Nach einer kurzen Einführung und ausprobieren des Segways ging es los in Richtung der Salt Pans. Der Guide erzählte uns viel von der Insel und den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider war es sehr windig an diesem Tag und an der Küste recht kalt auf dem Segway (also je nach Wetter an eine Jacke denken!). Wir vier Teilnehmer durften selber entscheiden, wenn wir einen Stopp einlegen wollten, um Fotos zu schiessen oder etwas zu trinken. An jedem Segway war ein kleines Täschchen montiert, in welches zum Beispiel die Sonnenbrille und der Fotoapparat verstaut werden konnten.
Alles in allem war es eine tolle Art, einen Teil der Insel besser kennenzulernen. Es empfiehlt sich, feste Schuhe (keine Flipflops!) zu tragen und darauf zu achten, keine langen Kleider zu tragen, die sich in den Rädern verfangen könnten.

Best Segway Tour ever! Ask for Peter Checkmate I have to say this Segway experience has been the best one yet. Went on one previously on Malta with a different company but this one stands head and shoulders above them. Me and my girlfriend completely enjoyed the whole experience (it was her first time). The route we went on could have been difficult if the instructor hadn't of been so good, our guide for the experience was Peter Checkmate he was a wealth of knowledge on the area and really made the whole trip from start to finish really enjoyable. It was our highlight of the holiday and would definitely recommend this company especially Peter as a guide. He also took lots of photos and videos and sent to us personally which in my opinion is really going the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Definitely going to be doing it again next time we are back. It was also cheaper and longer than previous company used so a real win win. Great scenic spots, loved the cave overlooking Ramla beach. Pierre was welcoming and took us on an alternative route so we could see the salt pans. Fantastic morning spent seeing the real essence of Gozo!

Excellent Segway Tour from an excellent tutor. The safety briefing was very good and he brought us on an interesting mix of on and off road routes. We learnt a lot about the area during the tour and also received some great tips on restaurant locations. In addition, he supplied us with some great photo and video shots after the tour.

A fantastic trip (and that’s from a Segway sceptic!) I have always been wary of doing a Segway tour because I thought that I would look (and feel) like a big turnip on one and be a bit of a nuisance to others. Also, escorted tours are not really our thing.

However, I was drawn to Gozo Segway Tours because of the ability to see a lot of sights in a relatively short timescale and the excellent reviews.

And I am so glad that I did - because the tour was brilliant from start to finish.

I booked the 3 hour Salt Pans tour between 9am and 12am. I made an enquiry on their website and everything was easily arranged within a couple of emails. I think they limit the numbers on each tour to small groups and for ours it was just my family of 4.

Javier met us at the agreed spot and made learning to ride the Segway fun and easy. We were on our way within 15 minutes.

The tour was brilliant in every way and we saw so much more than just the salt pans. Javier was the perfect guide throughout with excellent insights and he made sure we were looked after at all times.

I highly recommend Gozo Segway Tours & Javier. At 39 euros per person the trip felt like great value and really enhanced our appreciation of this wonderful and intriguing island.

Fantastic way to see Gozo Our guide, Javier, was superb - informative, entertaining, smiley and overall an excellent host to tour his adoptive Gozo. We had already spent most of a week walking Gozo, but Javier showed us some hidden gems and gave us loads of local colour. Whilst we had all ridden segways before, he was a particularly safe guide on the few occasions we had to use the busier roads. Also nice to meet boss Kevin and his delightful daughters. Would highly recommend, particularly if you have limited time on the island. Lunch from a traditional bakery excellent (and huge portions as usual in Gozo) and all water provided.

Highly recommended - really enjoyed it. Really enjoyed our bike tour with Kevin. We laughed a lot and learned a lot and saw some great sights. Also gave us a chance to do some exercise, but nothing too difficult. Would highly recommend this trip.

Great.. Javier gave very clear instruction and was careful to guide us the whole way ensuring that, when on roads, cars cleared us. The whole experience was fantastic...so easy even for someone over 60 like me.

I took a 2h tour and Javier the guide is very friendly. I was alone for this tour (low saison) but he accept to make... Instructions to pilot the segway was great (4th time I made Segway, but it's with them that I learned the most).

Mega super gigantisch toll Mit Peter die Tour war fantastisch!! Zunächst ausreichend Zeit das Segwayfahren zu lernen und üben mit viel Ruhe und Geduld von Peter. So kann es wirklich jeder lernen! Und man fühlt sich absolut sicher.
Dann die Tour selber ein Traum. Auf diese Weise das wunderschöne Gozo zu entdecken, macht einfach allen Altersgruppen Spaß! Peter weiss unheimlich viel über die Insel, ihre Geschichte und über Segways (technik ...) was die Tour sehr informativ gemacht hat. Vor allem aber haben wir ein wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde entdeckt und Peter hat viele Bilder von uns geschossen.
Gozo Segway Tours ist 200% zu empfehlen! Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder.

Sanap Cliffs & Xlendi Bay from Munxar This was the highlight of our holiday. As a family of four, we had over 11/2 hours trip on segways. Xavier was a superb guide; patient, fun, helpful and very knowledgeable about the sights and the local flora & fauna. We were able to go on little tracks you'd never reach by car and enjoy the sights and sounds of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Segway Fun!! Having a tour with segway is a must, something different, something fun that everybody of all ages over 10 will enjoy. Kids loved it.!! Also the tour leader was very patient with us which always makes the outing a more pleasant one! Thanks Peter and Kevin!

Tour to remember , best tour ever , best tour guide Javier Done subway before in UK , but this was a million times better. Great fun whilst learning about Gozo past and present. Javier always willing and able to discuss anything and his knowledge only helped to improve the day. Safety was always first and on roads always felt safe. Lunch was delicious and the day was superb. This was an exceptional way to explore Gozo, with the help the E-bikes and the friendly company of Kevin we managed to cover a lot. During the tour we navigated both the south end of the island and stopped at breathtaking locations, had a dip in the sea, and ate a delicious tuna Ftira. A highly recommended experience!

What an experience First go on a segway and what a great experience. Kevin and Peter were so welcoming and friendly. Peter was a good tutor, very informative and passionate about the island of Gozo. We all had a excellent time and a great way to spend a morning exploring a part of the island. We did the Salt pans tour with the extra half hour swim at Wied I-Ghasri which was so refreshing after segwaying in the hot sun, well recommended to do so. This is a must for anyone to do when visiting Gozo, as we certainly will ( another of the tours) when we return. Well done and thanks again Peter and Kevin, good on you both.

Best activity of our holiday Myself and two children (16 and 15) enjoyed an excellent afternoon with Kevin cruising around Xlendi and Munxar. Prior to the day, Kevin answered all our emails and questions very promptly and professionally. On the day and as first time segwayers he gave us simple and easy instructions. The trail itself was a good mix of road (low traffic), country lanes and paved areas by the cliffs with a brilliant mix of steep climbs and descents. All at times Kevin reminded attentive to the needs of the whole group and differing ability levels and advised us on the best way to tackle terrain safely. Great views, trails to places you would be hard pressed to discover yourself. We thoroughly recommend and will definitely be doing it again. Cheers Kev!
