Top class experience - 28/3/15 Decided to try one of these tours with my girlfriend spontaneously when in malta for a week, and we're both extremely happy we decided to! Kevin and Peter are great guys with a real passion for what they do. As it was our first time on a segway, we were given a quick lesson. Thanks to clear and easy to follow instructions, we were both comfortably zooming around in a matter of minutes!

We did the tour in Gharb, which allowed us to see the beautiful countryside. We were allowed to go at our own pace, with Peter telling us a few stories along the way. It was a truly amazing experience for a very reasonable price, and was one of the highlights of our trip to Malta. If you get the chance to do this in Gozo, I would definitely recommend it.

Great tour, great tour gide, great experience! Wonderful tour round the ta cénc cliffs and down to the quaint beach, the segways were in good condition and easy to use for those who are nervous about using them. Took 1 minute of a test drive to get the hang of it (they give you a good 15 minutes) great gozo attraction with tours all round the island, a must if you’re visiting. Thanks for a great trip!

Segway tour Gozo. Absolutely brilliant Segway tour with the equally brilliant Javier. We were picked up on time and given a thorough briefing of the Segway before setting off in a fantastic journey around Gozo. We saw some brilliant sights and views like the etchings on the church walls and goats living in houses whilst all the time getting better at handling the Segway. Would definitely do it again and definitely recommend Javier as a guide 11/10.

The Segway Tour with Kevin was really amazing. At first we had a short introduction how to drive with a Segway. After everyone felt comfortable we started the tour. It was really amazing, we had some stops and Kevin told us something about the area and the history. There was also a short Offroad part at the tour, that was really crazy. Never thought that it is possible to drive Offroad with a Segway. After the tour Kevin offered us a ride back to Victoria with his car. That was really nice, thanks for that. He also send us many photos and videos of the tour and gave us a list of restaurants we should try.
I can highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Stuff Booked a tour via Facebook messenger, met Javier in Marsalforn and did a 1.5 hour tour through the farm area's and Salt Pans.

Javier is a top guy, enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable.

He trained us up and the kids loved it, my lot are 18, 14 & 11, it was safe and he really looked after us.

It was a great experience and i would recommend it to everyone. With the Bikes it was very easy to get everywhere. Beautiful spots, a delicious local Sandwich and a good talk with a perfect group. Keep on this way guy’s!

A must Wow what fun we had 🙂 This really is a must while on Gozo great for sightseeing and seeing places you may never have found or known about .. Peter the guide looked after everyone very well with plenty of safe fun .. Young and old can enjoy this very simple easy to use segways Kevin and Peter we loved it and thank you we will see you again for a tour of a different part of Gozo

Highlight of our holiday Our afternoon tour of the north coast was easily the best part of our holiday on Gozo. Communication before the tour and organisation of the tour itself are all excellent. Being on a segway is fun, but what makes the Gozo Segway Tours experience particularly good is that the routes are really well designed so that you see lots of the sights on the island and Peter our guide gave us loads of really interesting information about everything that we saw without turning it in to a lecture. The tour struck the perfect balance between the fun of the segway experience and the interest of exploring the island. I'm in my 50s and I had two teenage boys with me, one very sporty, the other with Aspergers Syndrome and not in the slightest bit sporty. The fact that we all independently listed the tour as the best part of our holiday shows the breadth of appeal of the tour.

recommended 100% A fantastic tour, to anyone who travels to Gozo even for a day I fully recommend this tour, you learn many things, you visit spectacular landscapes and the guide is very nice and very friendly, he makes the trip very enjoyable. Great fun! Great countryside, great guide, great fun! We had never used a Segway before but only took a few minutes to pick up. Definitely recommended.

I properly enjoyed the e-bike trip on Gozo. I particularly liked the detailed info on local plant life and culinary customs. The salt pans in the north along the cliff side were great as well. Our host was very knowledgeable and could competently answer any question we had. A great experience!

Segway near Marsalforn I did a Segway trip alone while my kids dived. Javier was a wonderful guide who had comprehensive knowledge of the island and interesting tales to tell of his own. I hadn't done this before but it was easy to get the hang of it. An unusual and fun way to see the island.

I want one! Within the first 5 minutes of practise I fell in love with the segway! So much fun and what a great way to explore Gozo! Even for the less brave among us (I'm defenately nót brave either) it's not hard to get the hang of it and the very experienced guides take all the time it needs for everyone to feel comfortable on the segway. You won't leave for your tour before you feel confident enough to ride it and practise-time is not included in the time the tour takes either.
So if you want a fun and different experience, see more of the island than you would otherwise and learn something about Gozo while you're at it (since the guides know the island and it's history very well), than you should defenately book a tour!
I know I will defenately will when I come back to Gozo.

Highly recommended! We did the Ta' Cenc cliffs route. The views over the whole island were fabulous and the instructor was extremely patient and reassuring with beginners. A reasonable price too. A must do in Gozo!

The experience was way better then we even expected. Kevin is a great guy, and is very knowledgeable about the Island of Gozo. We were taken to many beautiful locations where he offered to take photos and tell us stories about the history and culture. I really recommend this tour to see Gozo and all it’s beauty! An ecological place of high importance As we own a small apartment on the Island of Gozo, which we purchased for our retirement days, we make it a point to seek and find places of interest to visit on regular weekends. It was a lovely sunny day when we decided to head towards Saint Raphael Lake (San Raflu). The lake lies in a small rural area just outside the locality of Kerċem, at the south-west of the island of Gozo. It is approximately 148 metres above sea level and it is surrounded by two of the most important bays in Gozo; the Dwejra Bay to the left, and the Xlendi Bay to the right. The whole area is situated on layers of Upper, Middle and Lower Globigerina limestone (Franka ta’ Fuq, tan-Nofs u ta’ Taħt), which make up the base of the whole San Raflu area. The view is breath taking.

San Raflu has always been a center for agricultural activity, which has grown in the twentieth century. It is called San Raflu u Sarraflu most probably after the Archangel St. Raphael, although the reason for this is quite unknown. The area centers around a man-made hole which gathers water and is home to several different marine organisms and other freshwater forms of life, such as ducks, fish, and frogs. Originally, the Maltese native frog (Discoglossus pictu) inhabited the pond. As the soil is quite fertile it also boasts of a diversity of flora and fauna throughout the year, making it an ecological place of high importance.

From what one can notice, the farming techniques used in the area are on the whole more primitive in respect of another agricultural area, and this may very positive, as contamination of the soil is being avoided. Certainly, the quarrying industry is the most active in the area, with workers depending on it on a daily basis, however, this has not interfered with the natural landscape of the area.

It was an enjoyable day of sightseeing which came to an end after we stayed around to feed the numerous ducks with freshly baked bread bought from a bakery nearby.

50th Birthday Treat We were unsure as to how we would react to this, but to be honest we got the hang of it straight away. There is lesson prior to the tour. The tour guide was very good and very knowledgeable. I would say do it and is a must as you do not see parts of Gozo whilst in a car or on foot, pretty amazing way to see Gozo. We intend to do another tour on our next trip. Keep it up Kevin.

Salt Pans Tour Nach einer kurzen Einführung und ausprobieren des Segways ging es los in Richtung der Salt Pans. Der Guide erzählte uns viel von der Insel und den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Leider war es sehr windig an diesem Tag und an der Küste recht kalt auf dem Segway (also je nach Wetter an eine Jacke denken!). Wir vier Teilnehmer durften selber entscheiden, wenn wir einen Stopp einlegen wollten, um Fotos zu schiessen oder etwas zu trinken. An jedem Segway war ein kleines Täschchen montiert, in welches zum Beispiel die Sonnenbrille und der Fotoapparat verstaut werden konnten.
Alles in allem war es eine tolle Art, einen Teil der Insel besser kennenzulernen. Es empfiehlt sich, feste Schuhe (keine Flipflops!) zu tragen und darauf zu achten, keine langen Kleider zu tragen, die sich in den Rädern verfangen könnten.

Exciting way to see the island. We have just been on a segway tour with Javier starting in Xlendi, going up to Munxar and out to Sanap Cliffs before returning to Xlendi. 1h30 - 25euro each - very reasonable compared to other places where I've seen segway tours being offered.
Javier was very friendly and patient - spoke excellent English (I didn't let on that Spanish was my second language). We were a group of 7 in total (us - a couple and a group of 5 others).
We were given a quick lesson on the segway and time to give it a try before we started. Water was provided and little bags attached to the segway.
We stopped at different intervals when Javier wanted to point out things of interest. The segway was easy to use but you felt your muscles working! A fun workout! The trip was just the right length and the views were beautiful.
The website said there would be a go pro video but this didn't seem to happen which was disappointing as I wasn't confident enough to hold my own whilst using the segway - if you had a helmet attachment then that would probably be best - the tour would make a brilliant video.
Highly recommended but a little scary. We will be returning to do another route in the future.

Wonderful! Easy email booking with Kevin. We met our guide, Javier, at the ferry port for the Cross-County tour. It was four fabulous hours of segway spendour!! Fantastic views, beautiful countryside, cultural visits, delicious bakery lunch and excellent, well-informed guiding from Javier.

Fantastic way to see some highlights of Gozo and brilliant fun We booked the cross-country tour and absolutely loved everything about it. We had a very early start from Valletta in Malta ( a bus trip and ferry to Gozo) and were met at the ferry port by Javier with segways. We were joined by another couple, who like us had been on a segway before so after a safety briefing and short practice we set off.

Javier was a great guide: friendly, knowledgeable about the island and it's history and obviously expert on the segway. He took us to villages and local beauty spots and fantastic view points. We had lots of stop offs for photos and drinks, had pizza for lunch from a local bakery and a swim in the sea.

This was a long tour but the time flew by.

The tour is mainly off road and is brilliant. I would recommend it as a great activity and a perfect way see the beautiful Gozo. Thank you Javier!
